Crypto is stored in wallets and there is a whole lot to choose from. Some coins from less popular blockchains require a special wallet. I'll go over the wallets that I've personally used here. I'm not going to link to downloads. Always go to the official site and if mobile verify it's a legit wallet. Links from Twitter/Medium/Telegram to download have a risk. It's best practice to do it this way and I highly recommend to always go to official source.
Cosmos Wallets
Cosmostation: Good wallet for holding Cosmos based assets or importing Keplr addresses to keep up with those while away from PC. Supports some DEX features on Osmosis and Gravity DEX. Not very user friendly but it works. Now that Keplr is mobile and connects to Osmosis site I'll not be using it for trading. I use Cosmostation for all my holding and staking seperatly from my Keplr wallet for the coins that are supported. Supports all major Cosmos based chains ($AKT, $ATOM, $DVPN, $JUNO, $OSMO, $ROWAN, $REGEN)
Keplr Wallet: Browser extension wallet that is currently in middle of developing mobile wallet. Allows you to use Osmosis, Emeris and SifChain DEX's via browser. Also allows for governance, staking and supports IBC transactions. I use this for 97 percent of my DEX trades and LP'ing tokens. Allows for easily adding new chains that are in beta or not listed. I stake $IXO and $REGEN here as they aren't supported on Cosmostation yet.
ETH/BNB/MATIC or other EVM Wallets
Trust Wallet - This is my most used wallet. It supports BSC, ETH and a few other blockchains and has a web3 browser built in. The downside here is that it's only available on mobile at the moment and not from a PC. It's quite popular and the dev team provides regular updates. I do all my BSC DEX trading from here.
Supports. Holding, DeFi w/ web browser, Staking, NFTs.
Runs on Android, iPhone only
Metamask- Another widely popular wallet and is more popular than trust wallet. Only supports ETH network out of the gate but you can add other blockchains like BSC. It has a browser plugin and mobile app so you can use it on a PC and Mobile. The mobile web browser is slower than Trust Wallet and has more issues.
Supports Holding, DeFi w/ web browser, Staking, NFTs
Runs on Android, iPhone and PC w/ Chrome extension.
Other Chain wallets (BTC, EVM, $ATOM, $XTZ, $ALGO, $XLM and more)
Atomic Wallet-The first one I ever used. It has limited token support for less popular blockchains but has a more robust staking component for certain tokens. The option to buy tokens doesn't work for me and the
DEX is usually outdated and high fees.
Supports a wide variety of coins ($BTC, $EVM, $ALGO, $ATOM, $XLM, $XTZ, $XRP, $TRX, $ADA and more)
Runs on Android, iPhone and PC as Desktop App.
Zenon Core - My favorite coin is ZNN and it's brand new and in an alpha state at the moment so only one wallet supports it. It reminds me of an early bitcoin wallet and is good. Staking only happens if wallet is online
Runs on PC and supports $ZNN only
Algorand Wallet- Used this for Algorand tokens. No real issues with it or much detail to go into.
